Kreidehaltige Turbenböden. Die Reben sind in einer Dichte von 4700 Stöcken/Hektare angepflanzt und werden auf horizontal gespannten Drahtlinien (Cordon) aufgezogen. Die durchschnittliche Erntemenge beträgt rund 6'000 kg / Hektare (geringe Menge, die einen hohen Konzentrationsgrad des Weins bewirkt).
Gärung in Stahltanks - Mazeration während 15 bis 20 Tagen - Ausbau während 24 Monaten in slawonischen Eichenholzfässern.

It's smooth and delicious, doling out juicy black cherry, ripe plum, cinnamon and white pepper. Lots of orange peel to the ripe and beautiful cherries. It’s full-bodied with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. A gorgeous, intense wine. One of the best basic VNMs from here for a long time. Drink or hold.

Savory wild herb aromas and flavors are matched to ripe cherry and plum fruit in this smooth red, which is firm and lively, with accents of earth and tobacco chiming in on the finish. Sangiovese and Canaiolo. Best from 2022 through 2036. Bruce Sanderson.

Dei's 50 hectares of vineyards are located in five distinct areas throughout Montepulciano. The Vino Nobile brings together plots ranging in altitude from 250 to 350 metres above sea level on predominantly clay-based soil. The 2017 is clean, fresh and youthful with dusty red berries nuanced by tobacco, lavender and mint. Polished and pretty on the palate where glossy tannins hem in plump, ripe fruit. With great underlying juiciness, this is a standout.
