Délicat en entrée de bouche, minutieux au toucher, avec de l'éclat dans le fruit, le vin glisse tout le long du palais, long, sèveux et distingué entre son goût et ses appuis tanniques. Assemblage : 90 % merlot, 10 % cabernet franc. Degré d’alcool : 14°5. pH : 3,6 .

    Rich, seductive and powerful with fleshy Merlot fruit, intense with a kick of spice. This is a fairly different blend than you would find in Carillon a few years ago, when there was more Cabernet Franc. Now, with new plots, you can expect it to be more Merlot-focused going forward, setting it clearly apart from the main estate wine. Yields around 40hl/ha. 3.5pH, 60% new oak. Inmitten eines natürlichen Amphitheaters, dominiert von den drei Kirchen von Saint-Émilion, wurden die Arbeitstage im Weinberg einst vom Klang der Glocken geprägt. Im Jahr 2019, wurde die Familie de Boüard de Laforst Eigentümer des Guts, das mit den Sorten Merlot und Cabernet Franc bepflanzt ist.
